The Anima Virus project was born in 1996, after the dissolution of the preceding band, "The Vacuum", in which Aurelio Gioia was singer and guitarist. The sound of the band was near to late seventies post-punk tradition: early Christian Death, Cure, Bauhaus.
Currently Anima Virus project enriches his sounds with electronic nuances close to latest Depeche Mode, Goldfrapp and to the electro-punk californian scene.
Distant light years from the "soap's beads" that the darkbiz daily offers, the melodies and the musical solutions of "End of the Eden" represent the perfect equilibrium among class, melody and impact to the state of the art. Anima Virus redraw the canons of the gothic music and it overcomes them: dark ambient vapors, club-electro pulsation, poisoned death-rock, gothic rides, rare melodies... The last shines of light in the lost garden draw as fascinating and so anxious shades.
